
Music Department Technology Assistant
The Music Department Technology Assistants will be responsible for managing tech needs and video recording for various Music Department events on campus. A sign up will made available approximately two weeks before the start of each academic quarter and each tech is required to sign up for at minimum four events per quarter.
Each tech will receive training in Fulton Recital Hall A/V equipment and video recording procedures prior to the start of the academic year. Techs will also be required to complete the Logan Media Center’s online training.
Qualifications: Strong technology skills and the ability to troubleshoot technological problems as they arise. Preferably previous experience with sound equipment, projection, and microphones. Strong sense of responsibility and unfailing dependability. Predetermined evening and weekend work is required.
Public notes: IMPORTANT: This is a full academic year position; candidates must be available to work Autumn, Winter, and Spring Quarters. Students who plan to study abroad, graduate early, etc. should not apply. This position is not benefits eligible.
