- Metcalf Fellowship Stipend - $750 per quarter

Metcalf Clinic Program | Careers in Arts & Humanities
Metcalf Clinics are co-op, project-based training program for UChicago students. During the paid project, teams of undergraduates take a deep dive into a professional area of interest and build relevant experience. Students are placed in teams to lead engagements, research, and projects with employer partners. During the program, you receive access to coaches, industry experts, and the opportunity to network with successful alumni. These clinics are terrific way to hone professional development in technical research, analysis, strategic planning, and presentation skills and a great boost to your resume.
Organization Overview
Ashford Media Group is a global music marketing agency based in Chicago, providing a full range of services including, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, Product Management, Social Media Strategy, and more. We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individuals who is interested in learning more about / pursuing a career in PR, Digital Marketing, and Social Strategy.
This candidate is passionate about music, community, and has their finger on the pulse.
Project(s) Overview
Public Relations:
- Research press outlets and contacts
- Assist in updating the AMG press database
- Assist with media plans
- Assist in press material writing and editing
- Update client reports - single reports as well as bi-weekly comprehensive press reports
Social Strategy:
- Assist with client social clean up and re-brand suggestions, as well as help execute and assist set up on any new social accounts.
- Update our client roster social growth doc bi-weekly
- Assist with updating client and agency content calendars and post suggestions
- Complete weekly Social trend reporting
- Coordinate with content creation team and Social Media Coordinator to keep content calendars up to date
- Manage AMG socials and identify new growth opportunities/strategies
- Join marketing team brainstorms and assist with ideation
Skills and attributes interns are expected to have:
- Proficient with Google Drives and Microsoft Word
- Strategic and critical thinking
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week
