Spring 2027 State Government Trek

Career Advancement is excited to offer a state government trek in Springfield, IL from Thursday, May 13th to Friday, May 14th, 2027!

This two-day trek will be a great opportunity to meet with government, policy and non-profit employers in Springfield such as the Illinois House of Representatives, Illinois Treasurer's Office, the Illinois Governor's Office and more. 

Students will be able to jumpstart networking for internship and full-time opportunities in public service. All majors and class years are encouraged to attend!

COSTS

  • All transportation and accommodation costs will be covered by Career Advancement
  • Please note students will be responsible for lunch costs and any additional expenses during the trek

DRESS CODE

  • Business casual, with comfortable shoes as we might be walking between some visits
