UChicago Athletics Administration Intern

This internship is part of the University’s Jeff Metcalf Internship Program and is open to currently enrolled undergraduate students. By applying to this internship, you agree to the Student Recruiting Guidelines. Students are eligible to receive only one University-funded stipend for summer’27. This applies across all University funding programs, including Metcalf, merit scholarship, and other College-sponsored experiential learning grants. University stipends may not be combined or stacked. 

 

Stipend amount: $1,000 per quarter

This is not a benefits eligible position. 

 

The Athletics Administration Intern will work with the Athletics leadership team on planning, special projects, and research to help drive key initiatives and priorities across the department. This may include researching other college athletics programs and comparing best practices, and tracking department goals and key performance indicators (KPIs). They will also help with special events and initiatives, including Aims of Athletics, signature department events, and partnerships across campus and the community. This is an academic year internship.
