2026-27 Beyond the Clinic Fellows Application

This year-long program hosted by Careers in Healthcare supports students as they explore careers in healthcare, outside of direct patient care. Each quarter, fellows explore a different general field, including non-patient-facing clinical careers such as pathology, radiology, and anesthesiology, global health careers, and healthcare innovation and administration.

A complete application consists of:

1) A one-page resume

2) Cover Letter

Cover Letter:

Please write a cover letter including answers to the following questions:

• What are your academic and career goals? How would being a Beyond the Clinic Fellow support your efforts?
   
• Which non-clinical role/industry would you be most excited about hearing from?

Program Requirements:

• Attend 2 of the 3 programs held each quarter
• Attend the quarterly discussion session
• Complete a reflection survey at the end of the year to evaluate experience as a fellow
