Position Description
The Self and Social Judgment Lab is looking for an interested and dedicated research assistant for the spring and summer, with the possibility of renewal through the upcoming academic year. Research in the lab consists of the experimental study of social cognition, perspective taking, and intuitive human judgment. The RA's primary responsibility will be to run laboratory and field experiments, but there will be some data entry, recruiting participants, and data analysis. Studies are conducted in the Lab (Campus, Downtown) or in the field (campus, libraries, Museum of Science & Industry, parks); they range from simple surveys to computer studies to elaborate experimental designs.

Qualifications
This will be a good opportunity for those interested in social psychology and considering pursuing a graduate degree. Previous research experience would be useful but not necessary. 2nd and 3rd years, as well as work-study students, are preferred, but other eligible candidates will be considered.
