Job Duties and Responsibilities

working on a book about immigration, capitalism, and the far right for Haymarket, a Chicago-based publisher. I'm looking for someone to help me fact check my manuscript, which is currently being revised and is due out in September.

This project will probably take about 40 hours of work, Day-to-day and week-to-week schedules can be worked out according to the researcher's needs, although it will be necessary to be in pretty regular communication throughout the course of the project.

Fact checking and reporting experience is a plus, but not required. Same goes for a familiarity with public records, court filings, and archival material. Ultimately I am looking for someone who can read a lot of material (quickly) and think critically about it.
