Project Description
Professor Elisabeth Kempf is seeking research assistants for a project analyzing the effects of political polarization and partisanship on financial markets and firms. The student researcher would support the project with the following tasks: working with large datasets containing information on individuals' political leanings and mobility; merging various financial and political datasets using STATA; preparing graphs and descriptive statistics; performing OLS regression analysis; helping to create presentations in LaTeX.

Required Skills
STATA, LaTeX, MS office as well as prior coursework in statistics. Preferred skills: Python, prior coursework in Applied Regression Analysis and computer programming.
