Project Description
Professor Thomas Rauter is seeking highly-motivated research assistants (RAs) for a large-scale international survey of corporate information production between June and September 2021. Research assistants will use an innovative survey tool and in-depth phone interviews with high-level accounting and finance managers to collect and analyze novel and highly granular data for private firms across a number of developed and developing countries. The survey captures many different aspects of information production and information transfer within firms. Research assistants will also assist in creating novel survey instruments and each RA will be responsible for a set of interviews in a particular country.

Required Skills
  1. Fluency in English, and preferably native fluency in one of the following languages: Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, or German.
  2. Ideally prior academic interests in finance and accounting, or business exposure.
  3. Demonstrated interpersonal ability and motivation.
  4. Knowledge in STATA programming is a plus.
