Job Title and Work Location
The position is a general research assistant position. As I am currently on sabbatical the position will be remote. You would be able to work from any timezone, subject to being able to schedule meetings at either the beginning or end of the day according to US Central Time.

Job Duties and Responsibilities 
The position will involve RA work on on-going research projects. These focus on the effects of competition in product and labor markets on Macroeconomic outcomes and inequality.

Assigned tasks may include checking derivations of theoretical results, proof-reading papers and slides, extending code in Matlab or Stata, and data collection and analysis. I will be hiring two Summer RA’s so you will coordinate your work with the other RA.

Requirements
Required: Familiarity with Stata and MATLAB.
Preferred: Students that are completing the honors program in Economics and have completed their core courses in the honors program.

Resume, cover letter, transcript. In your cover letter please include numerical and data analysis software that you have experience with.
