Choral Set-Up Assistant at Department of Music

Description: The primary responsibility is Monday set-up and tear-down of Fulton Recital Hall for choral rehearsals. Set-up is between 2 and 4pm. Tear down begins at 9:30pm, when the final rehearsal ends. Additionally, this person will periodically organize the choral music holdings at the request of the choral directors, particularly at the beginning of each academic quarter. Occasionally additional hours may be available for assisting with concert operations, including ushering, reception set-up & clean up.

Qualifications: Knowledge of choral set-up procedures, basic library operations, and standard concert protocol is preferred. This individual must be of a conscientious nature and completely reliable. Must be available for Monday set-up and tear-down.

Public Notes: IMPORTANT: This is a full academic year position; candidates must be available to work Autumn, Winter, and Spring Quarters. Students who plan to study abroad, graduate early, etc. should not apply.
