Detailed description of how the internship relates to your study of economics
 
Program Overview
RFA’s 2023 summer internship program will run from June 5 - August 11. Over the course of this
ten-week internship, all RFA interns will be immersed in RFA’s programmatic and policy work by supporting one of RFA's innovative teams in achieving their strategic goals. Interns will work on various projects during their time at RFA, while also enjoying a range of learning and professional development opportunities.

Interns will work virtually and be expected to use their own internet/computers. Interns will also be assigned RFA email addresses for the duration of the summer.

Position Requirements
RFA offers summer internships to individuals who are at least 18 years old and who have:
● proficient computer skills, including Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite (Word,
PowerPoint, and Excel);
● excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills;
● a strong work ethic, positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism, ambition, curiosity,
and rigor in all that you do;
● a strong commitment to Results for America’s mission and vision; and
● strong respect for the organization’s diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts.

Rate of Pay
Individuals with 1-4 years of postsecondary education or relevant work experience in
government or nonprofit organizations will be paid $27/hour. Individuals with 5 or more years of postsecondary education or relevant work experience in government or nonprofit organizations will be paid $32/hour.
The exact work schedule will be determined in coordination with the relevant RFA program lead.
