Choral Librarian
Description: The primary responsibility is supporting the Director of on campus Choirs to in organizing the substantial Department of Music choir holdings. Hours are specified by the Director. Catalogue all music purchased and used during the year for the University choirs. Handle distribution, collection, re-filing, and proper care of all choral music library materials, as well as inventory and return of rental music, in conjunction with the Choir Director.
Qualifications: General office skills, including word processing and database experience, plus fastidious attention to detail required. Knowledge of basic library operations and ability to read music required. Attention to detail, reliability, commitment to quality in all work, plus ability to follow directions and work independently required. Neat and clear handwriting strongly preferred. Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle lifting 25 lbs. Required.
