Performance Program Operations Assistant

Description: This position will work closely with the Manager of Operations in order to manage the various on-site needs that arise during the weekly concert season. Employee will receive a weekly schedule of tasks including, but not limited to, receiving and storing catering orders, moving instruments and materials to venues across campus, organizing the Department of Music reception inventories and restocking when necessary, assisting with other projects as required.

Qualifications: Ability to handle physical component of job, which requires heavy lifting and moving (of chairs, large instruments, boxes of food/drinks) Basic knowledge of orchestral instruments and proper instrument handling. Applicant must have a strong sense of responsibility, organization, excellent communication skills, good practical sense, and unfailing dependability.

Public Notes: IMPORTANT: This is a full academic year position; candidates must be available to work Autumn, Winter, and Spring Quarters. Students who plan to study abroad, graduate early, etc. should not apply.
