Grossman Ensemble Set-Up Assistant | University of Chicago

Description: Help manage the set-up and tear down of Grossman Ensemble rehearsals on pre-specified Wednesdays from 8am-10am and 4:30pm-6:00pm throughout the academic year in Fulton Recital Hall and the Logan Center Performance Hall. Assist with the arrival and set-up of catering orders when possible. This role will also require occasional office tasks including, but not limited to, printing materials and distributing/posting handouts. This employee’s presence and ability to help out with on-site operations during Grossman Ensemble Concert days is preferred but not required.

Qualifications: Ability to handle the physical component of job, which requires heavy lifting and moving (of chairs, tables, equipment). Candidates with relevant music experience will be given priority. Candidate should be well organized and have the ability to commit to the Grossman Ensemble dates prior to the start of the academic year.
