Research Assistant with Leo Bursztyn and the Normal Lab

Title: Research assistant
Hours and duration: 37.5 hours per week for at least 10 weeks in Summer 2024
General summary:
The research assistant will work a minimum of 10 weeks and The Normal Lab, by completing research tasks associated with a project that expands upon The Normal Lab's current work looking at product markets as collective traps.
Principal Duties and responsibilities:
- Analyzing survey responses on STATA
- Assisting the Lab's research specialists in data cleaning and econometric analysis on STATA
- Preparing data visualizations and summarizing output as requested by the PIs
- Testing surveys for the project on Qualtrics
- Conducting literature reviews.
Measure of success:
Prompt, thorough, and independent carrying out of responsibilities.
Reporting relationship:
Leonardo Bursztyn, Saieh Family Professor of Economics, Economics department (The Normal Lab)
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Proficient in STATA or R
- Experience with upperclassman Economics courses, preferred
