UChicago Stock Pitch Competition

The UChicago Stock Pitch Competition is an opportunity for you to explore public equities investing by constructing a detailed analysis of an investment recommendation!

Participants will benefit from preparation workshops, mentorship, and office-hour coaching resources.

Students of all experience levels are encouraged to apply (as part of a team or request team assignment)!  

Selected participants/teams will be assigned to one of two divisions based on experience level:

• Analyst: <1-year RSO membership, no previous internship or investing experience
• Associate: 1+ years RSO membership and/or relevant internship or investing experience

Event Date: Friday, April 11

Key Dates:

• January 17th: Application Deadline
• February 28th: 2-Page Investment Thesis Due
• March 11th: Finalists Announced
• April 11th: Finalist Presentations & Awards Reception Including Cash Prizes!

What To Expect:

If your team is selected for the initial round, you will submit a 2-page Investment Thesis that based on the template provided.

If your team is selected as a finalist,  you will submit a final presentation, which includes 7 to 8 pages, that is based on the Investment Thesis submitted. 

For both rounds, you will be provided with resources to help you achieve your goals.
