Business and STEM Recruiting Essentials at Citadel Securities

The Business and STEM Recruiting Essentials program is a selective, half-day, immersive experience designed to prepare students for internship and full-time recruiting. Hosted at Citadel Securities and organized by the University of Chicago, the event focuses on building the core skills top employers look for in candidates pursuing careers in business-to-business, business-to-consumer, finance, STEM, and technology roles.

Participants will take part in interactive workshops covering:

  • Research methods to support decision-making
  • Excel essentials for business and technical roles
  • Summarizing and presenting research insights to senior leadership
  • Delivering polished, professional presentations

Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with Citadel Securities professionals and build confidence ahead of the recruiting season.

Eligibility, Program Dates, and Location

  • Eligibility: All students are eligible to apply.
  • Program Date: Friday, September 26, 2025
  • Session Options:
    • Session A: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM CT
    • Session B: 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM CT
      Students will be asked to select their preferred session in the Wufoo application form.
  • Location: Citadel Securities, 131 South Dearborn Street, Chicago, IL 60603
  • Transportation: Will be provided from campus.
